Windows 10 Driver Import Fails in ConfigMgr 2012 R2 SP1

There is a bug in the ConfigMgr 2012 R2 SP1 release in terms of driver import: You cannot import Windows 10 drivers.

Update August 5, 2015: This issue is now fixed in CU1 for ConfigMgr 2012 R2 SP1: 

Note: The driver duplicate (driver package bloating) issue introduced in ConfigMgr 2012 R2 SP1 is fixed in KB3084586 (requires CU1):



When importing a Windows 10 driver without the CU1 hotfix you get the following error :

Some driver(s) can not be imported because they are not applicable to any supported platforms. See DriverCatalog.log file for details.


The DriverCatalog.log file gives similar information:


This is the new INF file changes that seems to throw ConfigMgr 2012 R2 SP1 off.
